Hi, if i want to reset my is200 ECU, do i just disconnect the battery for an hour and connect back
fair while ago one of the Jap performance mags said that resetting the ECU on a Lexus set off
i think 10 minutes is enoughI pulled the ecu fuses instead but reseting didn't seem to make any

I Took it to dealer who said they could do tests. after about 45 mins they came told me they reset ECU
have looked at the forum before you bought it,
the 220d in my opinion is the lexus that should have
is the lexus that should have never been made, i got rid of my 56 plate a few months ago

And happend to look down and both trip odometer and the regular odometer had all reset to 0 miles. Does
anyone have any idea why the odometer would reset to 0 miles? I never touched the ECM or cluster assy
ODOs don't just reset to 0.

The ECU. I went to Lexus and they told me that its a one time fix.
My question is ... im i screwed?
fluids, some filters, rubbin the car to make it feel good, clean MAF sensor, reset ecu (unplug batt, blah
, reset ecu (unplug batt, blah blah blah) and see if that changes it. im at 81500 now, i havent changed

And fit them with no ecu mods..
aparently its somtimes done with supras.. they fit a lexus v8 AFM
it as getting less than its actually is at any one time.. maybe doing an ecu reset after changing
stage 1 ecu, has some form of modified timing values im told..
ill say it again Im just asking out

It to the lexus dealer theyll want to change out the ecu for some outrageous price that wouldnt fix it anyways...
for the engine ecu.
If anyones had a similiar problem what did you do to fix it? I know if I take

Hi Lexus owners,
I recently bought a IS220d (jan.2007) from an official Lexus dealer with a Premium
improve the mpg is to replace the 5th injector with a new (modified) one, and to remap the ECU (whatever
has been replaced (and ECU has been remapped).
But I'm sure I cannot convince my dealer
