My baby brother keeps messing around with the CD drive. I tried the software from http://superuser.com/questions/8770/disable-cd-eject-button-on-laptop but it didn't work on Windows 7. I'm using a desktop computer with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Controlling would be to find the end of the plastic button for the drive eject.
Toggle switch somewhere inside the drive that can sever the trace to the eject button.

I do with a paper clip, for example, and sometimes reboot to get it to properly eject.
Dunno if this is still the case on newer drives .
And not hard, it is a 'software'/hardware eject button.

Just flashed my Slim no problems until I put it back together I noticed the eject button on the front wont open the drive but I can open it with the controller no problem all games are working fine is there a wire or something cut.
