Has anybody tried using a electric water pump on a r6. Not sure how many gallons per min or hour that it should pump.

Just make sure your pump big fuel pump and not look....
I do run a seperate pump for nitrous.
I have a holly black on mine and have not had any problems with it .
A1000 when looking for a pump make sure it is rated for street duty.

So I'm planning on putting a fuel cell in my truck one of these days and was curious about the fuel pump options. Do I have to run an electric pump or can I use the normal pump on the engine block?

In my opinion mechanical pumps last much longer....
electric fuel pumps always decide to go out at the worst times.
Yep i yanked the electric pump out of my truck and put a mechanical back pump.
Every chance I get.

and use the electric pump I bought years ago for my Hawk.
But you probably aren't considering one of those.

1.28 60' Are you talking about a SEPARATE pump and line for the nitrous? If so, just make the blue pump for the motor and the nitrous, you should be OK up to about a 125 shot.

The average 100amp alternator should be able to handle the load as i bought a new radiator, electric fans and CSR electric water pump for mine.
And CSR electric water pump for mine.

It takes roughly 12 horsepower to push the stock pump to 70 GPM
the electric pumps draw around 7 amps at 14V for ~ 100 watts...
A watt is 1/746 of 1 horsepower.
it is not physically possible that en electric pump can flow more than the stock unit at *...
