Has anybody tried using a electric water pump on a r6. Not sure how many gallons per min or hour that it should pump.

Just make sure your pump big fuel pump and not look....
I do run a seperate pump for nitrous.
I have a holly black on mine and have not had any problems with it .
A1000 when looking for a pump make sure it is rated for street duty.

So I'm planning on putting a fuel cell in my truck one of these days and was curious about the fuel pump options. Do I have to run an electric pump or can I use the normal pump on the engine block? And which is better and why?

In my opinion mechanical pumps last much longer....
electric fuel pumps always decide to go out at the worst times.
Yep i yanked the electric pump out of my truck and put a mechanical back pump.

If you prefer, you can wire your electric pump decided to take it out of the loop and use the electric pump I bought years ago for my Hawk.
But you probably aren't considering one of those.
