Anyone know if SAE or other bodies are working on crash test standards for electric vehicles?

Why would the standards be any different for an electric vehicle? I would hypothesize to handle and "disarm" electric powered vehicles.

Against this there are forces that take away energy from the vehicle.
All these forces are potentially adding energy to the vehicle.

I would be iffy about going with something electric personally.
No issues with it, but I charge it after every hunt .
I have a 2010 Polaris ranger electric and it is ok.
And it was always in the shop with electrical issues.

Diesel has pretty much reached it's limit on development, hybrid and electric are just.
They are not as clean as hybrid and fuilly electric vehicle COULD be, in a few years, with further developemnt.
