Im guessing they want you to sleeve the gf over the wire up into the ceiling and strap the gf to the rafter before it drops through the ceiling. Sounds kind of hacked to me id go with the 4sq box idea myself,but what do I know?

....heres a mock up with the romex being brought into the j-box via a rear knockout as the j-box to the greenfield to j-box connector??? Stubbie was talking about using a lug instead of the green on the real set....
Using 10-2 NM cable for a dedicated circuit for a 5000W garage heater. For grounding the switch and j-box, what size do the ground pigtails need to be? Can they be smaller than 10?

Watts divided by 120 = amps.
Most everything has a label showing the load rating in amps or in watts .
In order to figure the load you need to know the amp draw for whatever is using the power .
Looking for pretty installations, not old hack jobs.

Now take one of them and install it on the center 2 terminals If you can't get the existing diode ... .
OK loosen the screws on the top where the jumpers are across the terminals and remove the jumpers (the strips under the screws connecting the terminals .

The main problem is there is a fire block between the j-box may want to get a piece of 'smurf....
Water line tube, but outside of the conduit, attaching it right below the j-box, so that I can fish in the sensor at a later point.

I too have looped through j-box with no splices with the electrical super, based out of Massachusets, he basically doesn't reply to e-mails.
Boxes because that was the norm for NorthEast area.
