I own a 2005 Panda 1.2 8v.
The wheel light on the dashboard is "ON". Still, the powersteering is working properly even CITY function.

I had/have a similar problem, one day as I was driving along, the steering light(red) came the power steering or city.

Hello I can't seem to find where this 3 pin connector goes. It comes from the steering column and just hangs out doing not a damn thing, does anyone have any ideas where its home is? 1971 Demon 340 auto on the floor. Thanks John

It should have a mate in the same general area too .

I am sort of looking for a Neon replacement, and I see alot of newer cars have electric steering. And some models have common problems with it.
What happens when you pull the fuse? No added resistance manual steering? Locked steering? Hydraulic steering...

Too much liability involved if an electrical failure eliminates steering of newer cars have electric steering.
There's no way it would lock.
