I have a 2011 Outback. I cannot seem to understand the circumstances under which my factory alarm goes off. Initially it seemed like anytime you use your manual key to unlock the car, the alarm goes off. Then it seemed to only go off if I lock the car...

I just got back my Esprit 1988 turbo after not seeing it for a long time, and the ignition key does not open or locks the door locks. Are these diffeent or it just my car? If you need to have same key for all, do you have to cut a different one?
