Any down-side to engine braking?
I tend to use engine braking instead of the brakes for slowing down whenever possible. Is there any down-side to doing this in terms of engine wear or anything else?

Which makes sense if you brake to the brake force!!! engine braking is fine but remember the brakes are designed to stop you to engine....
Where engine braking will cause your rear tire to wear out quicker.

I woud think engine braking is done in the clutch assy.
Is there anyway you can buy the kit for and install breaking system not the clutch kit .
A Team Roller clutch kit with engine braking.

I have an edlebrock 750, mech secondaries. I pulled the top of the carb off, and took some pics. The car was running really rich, it seemed like it was flooding and my MPG is way down. The stalling when braking is scary, considering i lose my power brakes...

My car is a '94, but there is only a few OEM parts left on it, brake booster being is that the secondary float level....
Bottom line is that this carb has given me issues off/on forever .
If i want to brake ) i could see if the problem persist.

Engine revs when braking
Focus 2000, engine revving when braking. I think my accelerator cable is slack. Would this make sense?

Well, I have been reading the numerous threads on which cam to install and it is almost mind boggling! But, out of all the great info, I am considering the Andrews 48h for my Stage 1 96".
However, I've read twice where there is a loss of engine braking...

It's raining and blowing outside today and I am heading back to Saudi in engine ....
Since it is designed pretty much specifically for the 96, loss of engine braking is very limited a slight decrease in engine braking.

06 X2 Red/Black 2.5 polaris winch brush guard Glazer....
Unless the xp has it standard.
Con EFI was perty much standard after 2005 on your 500s and up but EBS is still optional for all polaris machines .
It was purchased in WV.
My '07 800 is EFI with no EBS.

I'm sure i've posted this before but can't find the thread.
My bike is always, and I mean ALWAYS stalling on braking with half a tank of fuel or less. The less fuel in the tank, the worse it gets.
Dealer doesn't have a clue, just out of warranty, in Mexico...
