I think my engine mounts on my mk2 are gone. When full throtle and when releasing throthle guickly i can feel engine moving and theres a thud anoying sound from around gearbox area. Also manifold is hitting body. Pretty anoying at least...it's 4-2-1 systetm...

Polly engine mount will last but you will have notice a increase of vibration in the cab, i would start cracking after few days :S I had the same problem.

Im about to swap a better condition beam into my 205 and just had a few queries.
slightly off track for a minute, after fitting a group n lower engine mount to my car its done nothing but vibrate to pieces and i havent even driven it anywhere yet! it ...

Chris I put solid wishbone mounts on my gti6 a while ago suspension apart.
Mine has solid rear mounts 1+
I was uming and ahhing about a stiffer lower engine mount but you've confirmed my idea on running a std one.

Civic EG6 Engine mounts
Need a new set of engine mounts, used to use Mugen Mounts but any advice on a better product to get, or are these still the ones to get?

At 105k, I think my engine mounts are done. The engine has a good 6 inches of vertical movement on the driver's side when I power brake the car. Is there much benefit to the Group N engine mounts (the under engine ones, or the pitch stopper)? Will I see...

They probably do it at the same time mounts are broken? It's very unlikely that you will feel any difference.
That the engine mounts give more noise than the pitch mount..

I have a 99 Forester that is in need of engine and transmission mounts. I've used Group N mounts on my WRX and Cusco on my STi. Does anyone know if the Group N's will fit the Forester?

I own a 1993 W124 300TD. Does anyone have a link to some responsible priced engine mounts. Also are left and rights the same?
Do all W124 have the same mounts (petrol/diesel) mine is a diesel.
I'm guessing to change them out I need to undo the...

About £65 each transmission mount is £....
I'd use MB ones.
Less hassle than the engine ones are and completes the job.
To the weight of the engine, but i could be wrong Strongly advise you do the rear (gearbox) mount as well.

How exactly would Pfadt's engine mounts have any effect on the performance of the car? From what I have read they stop the engine from moving so much but how does that turn into increased performance?

There really isnt a dead certain way of detecting worn out engine mounts.
Then again, any or all of these may also not be related to the mounts mounts.
Of an engine mount going or gone bad.
