Poly engine mounts with solid diff/subframe mounts ok? I have poly mounts for my engine and trans. I am trying to upgrade the bushings in my rear end in the diff and subframe (after the OEM ones failed). Is there any issue with running solid mounts in the rear with poly up front, or should I keep everything... Has anyone replaced their engine mounts?? My engine is gettin a bit sloppy in there, has anyone ever replaced their mounts?? Are they pricey?? Is it a big job??? Engine mounts I am debating over solid engine mounts vs. prothane bushing inserts for upper and lower engine mounts for my '05 sxt to reduce wheel hop. Any suggestions? When I turn my A/C on I can see the steering wheel shaking and my keys shaking . You feel EVERYTHING with the solid mounts. Of course it was only made even worse with the solid mounts. In vibrations even more so with the A/C on.
