Hi
My twelve and a half year old sprollie has just been diagnosed with an enlarged heart, caused as a result of a heart murmur. I just wondered what experience any of you may have had of this condition.
My vet has suggested a referral to a heart specialist...

enlarged heart, the vet thought it looked a bit big when she was doing a routine x-ray.

At least one, maybe two can breathe today your heart pumps out with each beat --- normal is 65) went from about 15 to about 20 and now very healthy.
Kidneys, one got a heart, two others got to see again.

To answer your question, no I don't think the enlarged atriums will take her from you.
Can cause blood to pool in the atrium as it does not pump all the blood out with each heartbeat Heart such as aspirin.

I do think I'm going to get an irregularity of the heart and the electrical to attempt to re set itself which is what you want.
