I wanted to know exactly what the difference was between traveling with a passport or birth certificate. Do you have to go through time consuming customs for this?? Any info would be great!! We are traveling to the USVI and BVI at the end of May.

You should have no problems either entering the BVI or USVI, or returning to the US Canadian and have not travelled to the USVI or BVI, but have travelled using only my birth certificate.
