Hi everyone.
I have heard that planting a eucalyptus tree is a good organic way of pest control in the garden - how much truth is there in this?
Thanks.

I have been offered a complete eucalyptus tree to play with.
Is the wood any good for turning or should I put it in the fire wood pile?
Any advice / pictures of work done in Eucalyptus appreciated.
Regards 'Sue'

Hi TF members, we have a 4 metre high (4year old) eucalyptus tree that seems healthy enough but many of the leaves have tiny reddish brown spots on them, would anyone know what these are??
Regards
Chris

Hi thanks for the reply, I have googled rust but it is nothing like the spots on my tree.
Try googling "eucalyptus rust images" and see whether any of the pictures look like yours.
