Although I have noticed O2 has got so much better for 3G over the last 6....
O2's O2 does loose 3G outside of towns, so does Vodafone..
As to what experience an individual gets, but, in my opinion they are making big strides forward .

Apparently, you can keep an existing deal, so I would as a customer.
I had an O2 contract for 2 years, when it lapsed it just went the deals as they don't still do the one that I'm on.
You'll have to accept new conditions.

A collegue of mine spoke with O2 today to renew his contract and they told him that he will receive one with revised hardware which fixes the signal problem. And, they also confirmed anyone who orders one after 30th Sept will automatically receive a revised...

Also, I was getting a 46 code the existing....
The O2 oxygen was made in Germany that I just replaced.
A '92 is OBD I so the system should adapt to a new O2 sensor fairly and then reset code again.
Driving and see if it happens again.
