Is it just because there just aren't that many of them? Looking at new trials bikes, they are all $6000-9000 US. There isn't much to them... Am I missing something?

Between a Gas Gas 300cc Trials Bike and a Gas Gas 300cc Enduro bike here - probably reasonable other new dirt bike.

Just curious who has more money invested in their bike than they do in their daily driver. I know I do although thats not saying much considering I drive a 1998 s-10 LOL. Lets us know yes or no and maybe some your bike is your daily driver/main automobile...

Ha bike is the daily driver got as heck isn't my daily driver right now...

I've recently joined the Vintage club and rather fancy, or should I say fancied, an old British iron.
Something like a Norton ES2, 500cc, pretty common in it's day, a go to work on type hack back then.
But the prices !

As Cookie says the interest rates are low so your sunday morning on an old bike is a lot more fun than bimbling around in the typical british leyland minor bump in the road.
Zipping round the country lanes on a classic bike.

A friend needs a new woman's mountain bike, buying it on the bike to work scheme so has to be new, not too expensive. Its never going to be used for proper mountain biking, just forest trails and across fields etc so maybe a sturdy hybrid is more suitable...

After work-cycling, dearie and I stopped near a cafe.
Suddenly over 10 teen boy- cyclists...all lanky,sprouting height, but slim about 15 yrs. up...blew in on their EXPENSIVE road bikes. They all wore racing looking kits, clipless, etc.

DBF was a Boy Scout, and did the cycling merit badge--except that one of his troop leaders was one of our sort, so they got really into it, and many of them ended up with expensive.

for example

i can't find albums that are rare to find....
To be expensive...the most i ever paid for an album was, AZ - Doe or Die brand new on VINYL...cost me 45 dollars plus 15 dollar shipping which was expensive because i got it from Japan....

I know the real expensive ammo made today is better by what standard ? So the old ammo made years ago won't do the task if necessary. Is it hype or reality ?
