Dont go to Western LKQ (formerly western auto). I was there this week and left rather disgruntled. Their prices went through the roof when they got bought out, and they tried to nickle and dime me... like charge me for hardware that went with the leaf...

At Pipes junk yard on Aero Dr. in Shreveport, La there were 4 5.0 explorers that were untouched and 2 of them were 4x4's. Just passing it on.

It is really nothing about the 11 or 10 explorers but the F150 is a great ride, no regrets for buying it, even though (OpenSUSE of FEDORA) ....

How many other ford autos have a engine that would be bolt in to a 95 explorer.
other than swapping a 2 to 4wd oil pan, or change from Manuel to auto trans.

You could mildly port some E7s and gain something along with milling them to around 60 CC but the GT40&Ps are better as they have bigger valves .
The only stock Ford head that's better would be the GT40 or GT40P heads .
The late 80's 351 got the E7s.
