Storage between dives - extending the life of the o-rings. How do you store your camera and/or flash housings between dives; open or closed?
Open seems to increase the likelyhood of some gunk contaminating the rings. I expect that keeping the units closed...

With what OP said for you are not extending the life of the oil seal, for oil seals, depending see why changing oil more frequently would prolong seal life.
