SMH story
It just seems so barbaric that this can happen. The man must be punished but to be blinded in such a way is beyond my comprehension.
What are your views on this case and 'eye for an eye' in general?

I think a lot of the 'eye for an eye' belief is fostered by what many feel to be a legal system that fails round.

How are you putting the medicine in?
Just placing it in the corner of the eye will get it into the eye when they blink, and even my rescue/untrained mare allowed me to do that if I petted her, eye injuries are scary and no fun.
