OK, never thought one would have to research about plugging in a HDD to a sata port but I've learnt my lesson
So, basically, the intel sata3 6G port on the mobo damaged my samsung F3 HDD. Plugged it in, turned it on, pc started to make loud clicking sounds...

So its RMA time, its Samsung's fault anyway, they just wasted my time when I should have been it is a waste of SATA....

my 18 month old samsung F3 1TB just died - was in our NAS as file sharing / storage drive for the family and poof , this AM whilst streaming it died;
got it out and after 5 attempts finally spun up and was recognised...

My main the differences in these posted frame-grabs....
There have been a few shots that would have been very hard to do for certain shots that need a different look for some montage and credit sequence shots .

Some time ago (few weeks ago) my wireless connection adapter just started to stop. Connections died and giant x over the WiFi symbol in the taskbar. Device manager (if i disabled and tried to enable again) "This device cannot start," or "Too many resources...

I would say you may have problem on you 250GB Seagate if that is refer to IDE Port 2
Also are you set up your HD mode in BIOS to IDE... .
Download Crystal Disk Info from http://crystalmark.info/software/Cry...o/index-e.html
See any Error it find on the HD.. .
