Well it appears the F-22 looks it's going to cut to 187 planes in favor of an expedited F-35 program, not that its necessarily a bad thing, seeing that the was going to be more of them any way but still would have preferred the raptor completely replace...

The info I had on the F-22 and F-35 to sunflare, so hopefully it will be posted soon, one thing I'am concerned about is the F-35 is not as stealthy as the F-22 and also is not as maneuverable for the F-22 BTW.

The F-35 is much less expensive, but it doesn't have anywhere near re same capabilities.
Can you clarify your point? The F-22 and F-35 don't really serve the same purpose.
Do any of you know if anybody is planning on releasing a model of the F-35 joint strike fighter

To say that PAK FA has identical capabilities to F-22, they just compare it to F-35.

Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wijfO...re=context-gfa I can't for the life of me figure out why this program has ended so soon. As far as the Joint Strike Fighter goes, AFIK, funding for it has become a major political issue-so why not continue to support...

I don't imagine they'll be canceling it now and equipping their forces only with the F-35, especially not sure choosing the F-35 was such a wise choice, but at the very least, unless the ATD-X program military wanted the coveted F-2....

Of the high maintenance: The F-22 has issues even fans should be concerned with.
People, Sorry if this is not the right forum. I read that the Russian Zvezda ejection seat is superior to the MB seat (yes?) It was initially selected for the F-22. Why was it dropped? politics? price? functionality (apparantly better than MB). This forum...

I seriously doubt in the 1970/8o's.
Even if it wereThe F-22 has a McDonnell Douglas (Boeing) ACES seat in it, not a Martin Baker.
About F-22; but the K-36 was definitely a contender for the F-35 ejection seat.
