According to USA Today , ratings for episode 2 were up 24% from the premiere, with 1.8 million viewers (compared with last week's 1.4 mill). That's great news and means that people are talking about the series!

If anything it would affect ER's ratings.
In the ratings than a repeat of Desperate Housewives , which shows that the program has a following of shit now and the falling ratings prove that so GA wouldn't be affected by it.
