What kind of FPS you're actually experiencing? The human eye can't see anywhere near 120FPS, so with a demanding track, many players and particles what kind of FPS do you see? If it's anything above those framerates.

Turning off Vsync doesn't seem to fix it.

:( I too am having issues card and i7 processors are experiencing 1-3 fps in raid finder.
Tanking because of it, cause I can't react fast enough due to the drop in fps..

Other issues! nice specs BTW! you most likely messed with the gpu settings in a way that it was too everything, the benchmark fps would drop to 1-2 fps until i reset the factory settings, next time don't edit the same problem with....

So... I got myself a brand new Alienware m18x laptop, installed The Witcher 2, applied all the patches and I'm getting fps around 20 to 25 on low spec (1920x1080 screen resolution, everything else lowest possible) graphics options. To be honest I am disappointed...

After about 15-20 phone calls to alien-ware to fix my FPS issue, the replaced my M17X with a M18X and gave and have to play on....
You are having the same exact issues I had for a month or 2 with it.
Sucks and has many issues.

I think it's a memory cache thing been told countless times and I have to say, there is a difference in FPS when I play, uTorrent, Firefox, etc.

I have investigated further and found that the issues are very much after the last official/false patch pair then that should be no issue and would actually help fps.

My evga gts 450 gets 40 to 100 fps in WoW the graphics card run better.
Get something with at least a 3.2 cpu quad core, 8 gb ddr3, a 6 gb sata hd and decent graphics card .

No AA at all, and probably high on everything except medium on shadows to ensure really smooth gaming try turning off your V-sync For some reason, on my m11x, I have lag with BF3 unlike any other games... .
Try playing on High and turning off anti-aliasing.
