Roger Clyne fabric spray paint in Camouflage colors but haven't used it yet, think it was by Tulip who color.
Coming back, I don't see any way around making the fabric stiff with paint or a top coat.

My humle oppinion is that you might need to paint it mat then seal it, with klear or a clear gloss.
