I am tired of blocking every application that my friends use. But there are so many different applications, and there is always new ones. I just want to read the updates that they type in their wall/home, and the replying comments.

If I have to read one more status about Joe Paterno, either nice or not, I'm going to scream and start blocking people...sadly, that would mean I would lose about half my facebook friends and a big chunk of my procrastination abilities ;)

And block that (or don't give access to that) on the school's wireless network.
