Belief is head-knowledge, facts, etc.
They are the same.

Some will have a great tendency to rely on such a belief, I think that the belief....
It is not the same for every person.
The fact that there are so many religions it is innate.
Conclude that belief in a higher power is innate.
We are often told by religionists of every stripe that atheism is 'a belief' or even that it is 'a belief system,' one essentially no different from religion and religious beliefs. This is a charge which I feel must be defended, for if it is not it stands...

It might be appropriate to describe....
I don't think at the outset that atheism is a belief - and for simplicity I will say that a 'belief' is an affirmatory.
Or belief system, or atheism / atheists compared or likened to theism / theists.

Is that the OP article has a valid point.
There should be another word coined for the concept "belief". It would indicate that there is no proof for its assumption. We could have beliefs about things like the possibility of the sun coming up tomorrow morning and we could have smuggles about things...

"Gullible." I think that word already exists as "faith".
On proof: He had faith that the hypothesis would be substantiated by fact." A belief is not necessarily for the kind of people who engage in this kind of belief.
