So heres my story. i bought my automatic 90 integra ls b18a1 a few months ago for $700. When i got it it had an idle problem i had never seen. After the engine warmed up, at idle the rpms would drop to around 500 and bounce around until it dropped out...

It came off....
And ran rough and eventually died i had to press on the gas to keep it runnin
as for the timing belt it properly back on and hopefully the tensioner is bent which comes in most timing kits thanks on the bolt for about 15 min.

The engine starts and runs perfectly, however when the timing is locked (or main ign map filled with flat timing) it will still advance with rpm. Approx 45deg advance is seen with timing...

Move the arrows back for forth until you get exactly 10 degress at idle with your cheapo... .
Force the timing to 10 degrees there.
If you lock the timing to 10 degrees but when you rev the motor the timing advances then you need/ ignition.

Timing vs boost vs E85
Whats the most timing youve seen running boost on E85? I have a sbc on E85 and am tuning to about 25psi on a chassis dyno. the last time out it was happy with alot more timing than I thought it would like. Im locked out at 35 degrees...

Time doesn't really matter for a RR or crit anyway, does it? Might be useful for a TT ....
For timed events, I've seen chips used quite a bit.
It's all video camera and race numbers.
Haven't seen chip timing used in any USAC race yet.

I reckon its about time they gave something to the customers such as decent toilets and maybe a fire info tells me where im loosing time and mph at the way points indicate if the cars falling on its face and making steam, so fuel....
