Hi Guys, My rear doors interior trim insert plastic clips keep falling to pieces. I've replaced them all once so far, but again they have failed. Has anyone else had this problem? Cheers BusterOz Sent from my HTC Desire using Bimmer App

Could that be the case with you? Too much pressure on the ... .
After putting the screw back it took the load off the trim clips and everything was good.
I forgot to put back one of the door trim screws that bears a lot of the weight.
Just recently both door rubbers that fit to the front pillars keep coming loose. Is this common? wots best to use for refixing? Thanks

I have done a few crown vic's lettering with the door protector molding. The edges are starting to lift on them. I know it's not my fault cause they ship these vehicles with the rear trim already applied to the door and it's lifting on those also as well...

Some type went out on the car not too many months... .
If it is a clean body and fairly new trim it may work even better.
And they were some tough looking cars after the years and the strips were almost falling off and rust a bit without tearing.

I took off the inner trim part and folded down the back seat,really a job for someone with small of tape over turmoil to stop em falling off when the nut's are all off.

You might work at an RV dealer, but you still have a lot to learn .
BTW, Josh, Sabre is not an entry level fifth wheel.
In very good shape, not perfect though. They have been lightly sanded down and redyed a medium blue color. No cracks though and great if yours are falling apart. $40 plus the ride. Obviously for a '78-81 2dr Malibu or Lemans.

In at @rse to get off to install my speakers Hmmm, if I was doing the rear door speakers again I would just get decent 6" so I didn't have to cut and trim to make things fit.
So i have pretty much had it with the stock door panels in my 78SC. The fabric is not in bad shape but they are starting to fall off and the particle board behind it is getting saggy. I never use the map pockets or the hatches in the side, and the handles...

That is what probably mount to some fastener that is stock on the door? As a suggestion for your new door panel - and custom pulls from ....
