When you know there will be a great recipe for what you need. One that you want or one that you would buy. I got rid of so many cookbooks when I moved so many times. I had hundreds of them. Now I wish I had some of them back lol. With the internet I think...

The one cookbook I use all the time and the one I purchase for new cooks is The Better Homes, I love the "Friends Remembering" from my cookbook, a Chef's Journey...Home - lots of goodies in the beginning and wore out and replaced twice was....

I was just curious ... How many cookbooks does everybody own and do you use all of them? Or which ones do you refer back to time and time again?

I am a bit like Deb I have a cookbook addiction but I don't have near as many as she ones G'day Deb & fellow cookbook....
I also have printed out heaps of recipes from this site too .
Collected from family, friends and recipes from magazines.
