Please learn about Triacs and its applications for motor controls.
As well as on and off at fixed interval of time if you want off the fan, it is better to use SPDT type relay.

I added a clip on heat sink to the motor, the ESC cooling fan from Traxxas.
See what - tough application.
I am goint to install the esc fan and motor fan as well as a engine mount cooler.
Is heavy.

Had the 65 for 2 years and have not been able to get the heater-AC fan to work off the 3 way switch. When I turn on the AC the fan comes on at a low speed and seems to work ok...but thats the only speed I have and only works when the AC is turned on.....

I would definitely....
The fan motor speed is strictly regulated resistor.
Simple test is to power it directly from your battery .
To find out where that bad boy is If your fan motor is running and not squealing, it is probably good.

Motor fan Any one use a heat sink with motor fan?? I have a stampede vxl with the hot racing composite gear case. So wont need to cut up gear case to fit one. I thought one of these would help keep temps down as well. I also run 2s and 86/19 gearing. ...

I just got a new condenser fan and capacitor and hooked it up. The fan starts and runs for 15-20 seconds and shuts off for a second then starts again. It keeps doing this. To start, the box says it needs a 5mfd370 cap. The guy gave me a 40+5 mfd440vac...

You have is a dual for the compressor and the fan motor Are you sure the motor is running it should be fine....

Take 2 wires and attach them to the fan plug (fan side)
Ground one wire as it is to the fan plug and not the wire harness Source(s): 20+ year mechanic.
Unplug the fan at the fan.

First off, why? The simple answer is that I already had 3S 2200mah packs for use in my speed 400 prop planes and smaller 55-60mm jets. Rather than buy 4S 3700-4000mah packs that would only be used in jets, I decided to experiment using 6S 2200mah packs...

Seems like my fan is packing up...probably the bearings..but hey it's probably easier to replace the whole fan than just the bearings and probably not expensive...most likely the motor will pack up soon...my friend oiled the bearings..but doesn't really...

I ordered a 6v dual ball bearing fan....
The fan that comes with it is kind of cheap and it's just a bushing style fan.
My Integy has been good; dropped my motor temps almost 40 degrees on 2s!
the fan didn't last though.
