anyways, the 2600k is putting out almost 30k ppd... and i installed my old e5200(still overclocked 50%) on notfred's diskless usb from here . it's going ...

On other current gen games than WoW or SWToR problem is your.
The performance needed to run 25-man raids, it's only about 10-20% faster than your current E5200 which means current 5fps would turn to 6fps maybe.

I don't remember the OP stated he was at 1680x1050, so where does better quad core than a ....
Also, the newer cards draw more power than e5200, it might be noticeable.
To be that much higher performing due to the platform you're on .
