If you could only bring ONE favorite travel accessory (excluding e-readers, ipods and spouses!!!) or gadget, what would it be? Been looking at travel stores and trying to decide which gadgets are truly helpful and which are just a waste of money??

Ok, so it's 2 things My handy dandy travel....
I might well add a video iPod it at home, I don't bring it on a vacation! My travel-sized curling iron & flat iron.
travel clock, sat phone, netbook (most of the time) and plugging strip.

H and I like to take a nice vaca every year. We would like to save up and in a couple year take 2-3 weeks and travel around Europe.
So for the next couple years we would like to keep our vacations domestic so we can save more.

They had more fun mini golfing and playing at one of the Fairfax County parks then in DC the last time we a great time on both....
We went to a few museums.
We enjoyed spending some time out in San Francisco with our DS.
