I recently purchased a nice asus 1000HE, and installed Ubuntu NBR. However, I'm pretty disappointed with how sluggish it feels. I'm wondering if I maybe need to install a closed-source graphics driver - it feels similar to how my work laptop performed...

Check if your kernel version is at least 2.6.28-15.48.
Utilization -- are you near peak? is swap being used? If you feel the network access is sluggish (terminals to be sluggish in a number of netbook models for some time.

Yesterday I stayed below my 1200 calories, I also worked out in the morning and the evening, I didn't eat back my calories either. This morning is slow and sluggish. Could that be from having such low calories yesterday or am I just having an off day?...

Try adding small snacks of veggies and hummus or fruit and nuts as a quick snack .

So I changed the spark plug, replaced EGR valv, cleaned TB and flushed coolant. Truck ran great for a couple days. Now it feels sluggish at take off and going up hills. Have to push gas pedal over half way down to even kick it down a gear going...

Do you think the new HDUI is sluggish on your receiver(s)?

Things like are as sluggish as they've ever been.....
Also, when deleting a show from the recorded list that sluggish is necessarily the best way to describe them, but they're not quick.
Lists is sluggish, as is pulling up QuickTune.

1st Gear sluggish?
Is the 2.0 td's 1st gear meant to be sluggish? Accelerate and it just doesnt pull hard at all till about 2 - 3k revs and its off same with 2nd gear and so on

Trying to rev it through the gears like a petrol won't produce the same results .
First gear is very short on the Derv but then the trick I found with mine was to get into third fairy quickly and then let the turbo do the rest .

I like ReSharper, but it is a total memory hog. It can quickly swell up and consume a half-gig of RAM without too much effort and bog down the IDE. Does anybody know of any way to configure it to be not as slow?

As above though these engines are just naturally sluggish without the turbo so out of the turbo.

I just had my vavle cover gaskets replaced along with the center drag link. Now my car is sluggish....feels like its running rough and when it shifts gears its very "hard". Also the check engine light comes on but only at idle....once you start moving...

GW2 such a good pvp background that its combat will do very well and not feel sluggish like SWTOR.
Is for focused around pvp, and this sluggish feel really is a detrement to the flow of the game.

Okay i have a 2010 jetta 2.0t with about 15k miles on her. Love the car, my problem i am having is it seems a good bit more sluggish then my friends 09. what i mean is that when you punch the pedal on his it goes no real lag mine delays for a few seconds...
