So I heard the dealer will replace front fenders if they rust in the first 10 years. How about rear fenders? I am in the 10th year on this 2002 Jetta and the passenger side fender lip has some pretty big rust bubbles under the paint.

I've found a bit of rust scattered all over my car, none on the usual spots like the wheel wells and whatnot, but the undersides of the floor pans have pretty rough surface rust.
So I'll list the places the car has rust

Truly rust free---has a small bump near headlight that would pop out nicely. The key word is RUST FREE. $125 picked up here. Also a perfect rust free inner fender with ORIGINAL battery tray for same side. $125 Located in central NC

'73 Beetle. I pulled of my fenders and all the areas the bolts go into are in real good shape...except for two. One has bubbly rust under the paint (rear driver side)and then there is this one, the worst one. They can still hold a bolt but the screw area...

Okay so tj fenders are for custom mount and bigger tires, mj,xj, fenders can do the same the only difference I see is one has lights that could be added maybe I just don't understand it

Need advice, approach to take to repair this fender. Rusted thru, pitted badly.
C fenders are not on the market new. The B fenders are too different in my opinion.

I am not sure how that would hold up over seal the metal and keep rust....
I am not sure, you can fill that with filler, but that side of the fender bolts to the frame rail.
As far as the pitting.
The inner fender walls with new metal.
