Hi, I was wondering if tokens such as Tin or Iron tokens are not only available at the yearly anniversary festival, but on any festival? Why I am wondering is because I'm a member since august last year and already had a Tin token on one of my chars around...

They were avaiable "sometimes", not on a regular base, but - as you stated - for example during anniversary festivals.
Is there any way to get rid of my gold tokens. for marks or anything just to get rid of them?

Its the anniversary tokens the anniversary tokens have to be saved....
Last I checked metal tokens (tin, gold, silver, etc.) were convertible to marks at the hunting lodge in bree (bree rep area) year round.
Anniversary as far as I know.
We currently can trade the metal tokens dropped by mobs for marks with the Keepers of Gifts and Tad Leafcutter the Men of Bree reputation trader, possibly with other reputations traders, I didnt check. The Keepers of Gifts will leave at the end of the...

Tad Leafcutter started offering Marks (then Skirmish Marks) for the metal tokens with one of the first updates after last years anniversary, I'd consider.
