The pop alone would only reduce the body temp slightly and not really help with the underlying cause of the fever.
Acetaminophen (Tylenol) would be better for that as it is a fever reducer.

I didn't realize ibuprofen is also a fever reducer! I'd call just to be safe....

Of a fever in an adult woman with headache etc is it best to use paracetemol for the pain and ibuprofen for the temperature ? I think that the ibuprofen would help with both the headache and with the fever.

They'll take your temp and if it's still high they'll give you a fever reducer and hopefully call a continous fever for going on four days now? There could be something seriously wrong.
