Basically I am having a problem with a fiber optic cable connecting 2 switches not working, hired a professional to help fix it and in the end it is still not working.
I need someone to look over the details that I am writing here and hopefully help me...

I'd say that you need an Ethernet switch with fiber ports, or some fiber to copper media converters and a switch, along with an access point.

My argument for re-running the cable would partly be that you can't reasonably ensure the current... .
I don't think the water will have any immediate effect as long as the water never entered the cables--obviously copper wiring will oxidize if given the chance .

We've got some C3KX-NM-10G modules coming for our 3750x stacks, one stack in each rack, and are looking to uplink them. The racks are side by side.
Each rack has 2 3750x stacked. We figure we'll do 2 uplinks, 1 from each switch in each rack to each other...
