I have seen all the Voltaire boots ....
The fit is excellent and I think the boots will out-last me....

I recently had a pair of red wings that fell apart in three months. i used to have a pair about 15 years ago and it took two years to destroy them. wish they still made them like that.

It is one of the very few high top boots that provides to that effect....
In my experience you comfort with rigid (enough) support hiking boot.
If you like a stiffer boot Kayland makes some great boots.
For them as much anymore.

I am still debating getting tops put on them.
I have a pair of brown Der Daus but unfortunately they dropped a lot (no zippers) and they are a good couple inches too short .

How tall are they? Also, I'm a 7.5 (7 in Ariats) how do these run? I just bought a pair of field boots for showing, and love them so much I want another pair! Ariats run big in tall boots - if your a 7.5 you'd be an 8 in any other....
