I'm a writer in my spare time and the one thing I always struggle with are the fight scenes. They're either too sporadic, too-drawn out, or there's something else wrong. Can anyone possibly share some tips and advice??

On one hand it's very descriptive so you might get some ideas as fight scenes, they were always a little easier for me to write as I have 6 years of martial arts mechanics of how the body....
