Where do I even start? We have 3 weeks in Feb/March 2013 for our 25th wedding anniversary. I want to visit Australia; my DH wants to visit Fiji. Going to try to do both. 2 weeks Australia, 1 week Fiji. Is this at all practical?

Air Pacific (based in Fiji and affiliated with the One World alliance) usually allows one free* stopover in Fiji on its US-Australia fares.
It's very practical, as Fiji is on the way to Australia.

Give me some good fall break ideas. I'll be in New Zealand to study next week and we get two weeks off for fall break. I'm thinking about a trip over to Melbourne, a trip to Fiji, or maybe a 5 day cruise somewhere if I can find the right price.

Fiji would probably be the best as far as distance from each to travel via Fiji or Brisbane to get to Solomon Islands.
