I'm having some trouble viewing some video files (which claim to be in .avi format) with VLC 2.0.1. I've also tried them in MPC (with K-Lite Codec Pack v8.1) and Windows Media Player, with no success.

I am new on this forum
I installed VLC 2.0.0 on the place of VLC 1.1.11.
VLV 1 reads all my videos, VLC 2 shows a black screen for all the movies avi (XviD Mpeg 4).
I have only the sound. The reader Windows Media reads them with no problem at all...

If I take a video and add a blurb image overlay image say from frame
10 to 20, the output file shows that blurb offset by a couple....
To identify from which location in the output file the
frames are missing - beginning, middle, or end.....

Hello I am new to this forum due to a new problem.
I just updated to 2.0.1 and now all avi files playback with choppy audio and video. Mp4 and other files seem fine.
Amd 140, 2.7gh
6 GB ram
Win 7 ultimate 64 bit.

Since "-a" is equivalent to "-rlptgoD....
Does "me@remote" have permission to read /etc/init.d/apache on the remote server?
you might need to use the --fake-super option on either the remote rsync or the local rsync or both .
It could be a permissions problem.

I convert some ISO to MKV files by using hand brake . Then I installed CCCP to make the MKV files available in WMP running on Windows 7 x64.
I configured WMP for streaming.
And tried to look at them on my blue ray (WIFI).

I have an NFTS 1TB HD with .mkv files on it. VLC can play the video files on it, except those in a specific folder that were copied from a mac with NTFS drivers. When I try I get the error:
