Well, installed Windows Server 2008 as our dev server. IIS works as it should, the remote desktop with TightVNC works but lags and I need to refresh everything all the time. But the real issue...

I have connected to a server via SFTP using FileZilla and accepted adding the server's SSH key to the key cache in FileZilla.
How can I extract this cached key to a keyfile so that may use it through other SFTP applications that require a keyfile be made...

If you connect to the server with another application (ie: PuTTY) and it has not seen the server before then you will be prompted to accept.
Unless I am misunderstanding you: you don't need to.

Would windows 7 be blocking filezilla from connecting to FTP by default?

On the setup of the FTP server you are trying to connect to but by default Windows 7 isn't blocking again if that does it, you'll have to turn the firewall on the edit it to let filezilla through.

Currently Firefox is set by Windows to open .html files. I'm hoping I can sort of override this in FileZilla so I can do quick edits and then upload them to the server.

Hi,
I created a ssh key using:
ssh-keygen -t dsa
But when I use FileZilla (FTP) to my server, I can't see the .ssh folder or files. I even tried moving the id_dsa file to another folder but I still cant' see the file.
Is it hidden?

Try connecting to other services on same server when this happens (You can share some big dummy file on http server).
It looks like network problem.

In FileZilla, go Edit > Settings > File transfer.
Binary mode you should not have this problem.
