Does it matter that I never recieved full, or any funding, from the OU or Student Finance during my funding, from the OU or Student Finance during my distance learning studies, all self study from home have an Honours degree you....

I got a degree in computer engineering intending to go into hardware engineering....
More than anything a programmer without such a formal background would have .
I would say it has been very useful.

However, now that every other coder has a Bachelor....
Certifications are, by and large.
A degree in a non-computing field is of way more value than a Masters in Computer Science: statistics (data mining), probability/game theory (finance), etc.
