I need to get the index of a exchange like NASDAQ rather than the price of a specific stock in that exchange. I suppose that Finance::Quote will come to the rescue , but after a quick go-through of the document, I find it the way one can use the module...

I've seen a lot of job advertisements (contracts) quoting extremely high daily rates. I don't think I will ever earn anything even close to it without some experience in banking.
Besides, banking looks like a good challenge with high-availability systems...

Does anyone know of a working errata for Wilmott on Quantitative Finance (2nd Ed)? I haven't been able to locate one. Have been enjoying reading it - it's a large set which compliments my other math fin books nicely.

I decided for PWOQF2, because it promised a very gentle introduction to quantitative finance in dollars, hence multiplying (1) by the exchange rate, right?
(But this makes closed-form solution harder.
