I have the following html/css that is causing problems in Firefox 1.5 and 2, but is working correctly in IE6/7/8, Safari, Chrome, Opera and Firefox 1 and 3.

Removing the min-height....
My workaround is not a silver bullet, but it will work for my situation .
Or try changing
bottom: 0
to
top: 100%; I was able to find a workaround, but I still don't understand what is going wrong .
Either take off the
float: left.

I have firefox 1.5.0.12 and firefox 2.0.0.7 installed on the same windows xp machine.
There's no need for that so I want to uninstall ff 1.5, but when I try using the control panel/add-remove programs the window just freezes without anything popping up...

It prompted me to close FF 2, even though I was uninstalling FF 1.5, but I guess on the internet..
Chances are, with firefox it wrote to the same directory as the previous version it from there.

I have an ActiveX plugin that we need (if possible) to run in Firefox. Is there a plugin (or other way) for Firefox that will allow this?

You used to be able to in Firefox 1.5 but not any longer I believe, the plugin doesnt seem for Firefox is fairly straightforward IMO - easier than writing an ActiveX control, so you might find/p/ff-activex-host/

I have windows 7 and the newest version of mozilla. when i try to install the add-on vimperator for firefox i get an error message:

I'm not on Windows 7, but on Windows a beta release? I'm not sure about beta releases, but Vimperator works perfect with the newest Firefox stable release.
On a Firefox version as old as 1.0 or 1.5, it definitely won't work.

There is a firefox addon that is not supported by the latest version installed on my computer. I know there is a way to use this by editing the xpi file,but I can't even download the xpi files from the mozilla addon site (the "get addon" button is disabled...

Open the .xpi file in firefox....
Click on install.rdf, and choose edit Find this code: <!-- firefox --> <em:minVersion>1.5/firefox/addon/6543?src=api
This allows you to mark an addon as compatible (something like that), which and 7zip.
