Hello- Anybody have any recommendations for good ice fishing line to prevent line twisting? Right now I am using 8lb. test northland camo line & keeps twisting on me at the rod tip when I am jigging.

Best fishing line = "You're of the cat and gator? My favorite ice fishing line is Pline, Flouroclear, in 4 or 6 lb test.
For Eyes I'm generally using 6lb test.
And haven't been having any issues.

Although I STILL can NOT ice fish here I was thinking of getting some gear prepped just in case if you remember correctly I asked about a Super Line for my little Lake Erie perch rod and finally settled on Cabela's RipCord SI...

Do you think spectra fishing line such as PowerPro would be useful as a good end serving material in the proper diameter. The little spools of white Halo are getting a little pricey and I believe PowerPro white would go clear under tension with a clarifying...

Hubby covered our gutters last fall, the pieces cut off for corners or making a piece shorter fell to the ground at the foot of the ladder and as men are want to do he packed up his tools and left the scraps there.
Not one to let good stuff go to waste...

Which is why you need to size the line to your fish species fish on heavy braid....
It will ruin your line guides in seconds but only under the pressure of a fish that u will most likely it running through the weeds, etc.

I have yet to loose a fish because the line didn'....
Topshots for live bait, and size down if necessary when the fish are line shy to 25lb and 20lb on a Penn, just because the reels are inexpensive, and so is the line.

The thin line lets the lure breath quickly in lighter lb....
The line sinks fast and when fishing weightless 3 inch senkos it gets to the bottom faster.
8 pound breaks at 10lbs (about) and is about 6 pound thicknesses .
