I found out that i can tie 2 knots in the end of the line....
I have tried several knots and none hold.
I have 3 reels with spiderwire and i have had large bass pull the line off the hooks even with a knot tied in the end of the line.

I fish mostly Fork, which is rather stumpy. I generally carry only two rods, and each serves dual purposes. For general fishing with crankbaits, worms, spinners, and topwater, what would be a good all around line weight? Maybe 15 lb or 17 lb? Or as much...

If you go with Flouro, you....
Not as good as Flourocarbon line, but is much cheaper as well.
17 pound mono is my main line less than some of the 15lb lines out there.
I fish 14 and 17 for mono and fluorocarbon, 60 lb for braid.

Over the last couple years I have great success for winter steelhead with float and jigs, I have been using hydra float. Will this be a good choice summer fish in clear water conditions?

Has anyone tried the red fishing line in fresh water? I see it used all the time on fishing shows on the ocean and a friend uses it for his ocean fishing, but not when inland. He says it disappears underwater so why hasn't it been used in fresh?

I'm also reluctant to try new mono line of whatever not sure how red line could be any more invisible, unless red is a more difficult spectral color for fish spawning....
A hooked fish was in combat/bumper car boat fishing.
