Hold the guard in place, insert the bolts.
Twisting as you push sometimes helps.
3 be pretty tight.
Hold the guard in place by hand & mark the bolt holes with a pencil/pen.
The drill from slipping.

I presently have an ALtrider glare guard mounted on my 08 R1200GS. I'd also like to add a headlight protector, but like the BMW protector... this one:

The Altrider removes easily for cleaning with 2 dzuz....
I would probably think it won't fit with the factory guard as it is too close and large compared to the headlight.I have the Altrider headlight guard with the glare guard.

Any recommendations for where to get my HMPlus Quickshifter fitted? As soon as the weather perks up and the salt has been washed off the road I want to get my HMQS fitted, not a job I fancy doing myself, sooner leave it to the experts.

Have recently fitted EL GT's to my car, and it appears the wheels are touching my guards when turned and hitting bumps (ie. turning into a drive way).
I guess this implies i need my guards rolled.
Who does this, and what would the average cost...

Just fitted some BarkBuster Storm hand guards http://www.barkbusters.net/products/storm.html this arvo. Took 45mins all up. Very easy to fit. Did not have to do any cutting of anything. Follow the instructions and its a breeze.

Are from 650 Vstrom's but those look like they might fit better.

Carbon belly pan fitted The hardest part was taking the nearside front bolt out of the oem bellypan, as this had rusted and was just turning..it was a right faff to take it out. It fixes on a rubber gromit ala screen fixing, and had to be cut off. Luckily...
