I say go for it! And like mentioned I'd black out the trunk.
Flat black looks good on just about any color.
You may also look for a trunk black out to complete the look.
I think it would look cool.

Any advice?
I think the stripes will enhance the look on the black Shelby. I am leaning towards the silver stripes. What do you guys think?
Some folks seem to like the idea while some others seem to like stripe delete. Help me.

Orange or yellow stripes would look good on black.
I'd vote for black or nothing.
Flat black stripes.

I'm not a fan of stripes. But I kinda like the retro nose stripes. I'm actually considering them in flat black on my IOM SS.

I have one in Matte Black with "427 Supercharged" where the "SS" is on the car or silver to break away from the plain dark look.

Has anyone installed flat black (or gloss black or carbon flash metallic ) or white tail light bezels on their inferno orange Camaro? I ask about white bezels because I have white stripes so they will match. I'm hoping for pictures before I contact Lupe...

But thats sorta the nature of vinyl, especially darker colored vinyl, and even more especially flat that the sun is eating up the stripes.

Good luck How are they chipping?? I just installed my own stripes.
The worst is that you have to buy new stripes but DONT GO BACK TO YOUR DEALER.
Not purchase the car with the stripes already install.
