You will always get a Flickr Mail when someone makes you a contact.

So if you click on the photo you get back to the flickr site.
They want that you backlink a photo to the flickr service.
Simon, this is a way that might technically work but it is against the flickr terms of use.

You give out the web based email and have it redirected to Flickr.
That's a function available in Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail, pretty much any web based email service.

Do it by answering the automatic mail with the case number.
