The machina 2 shirt is far and away my favorite .
I'm told it will be finished of the best shirts the Pumpkins ever put out .
I haven't seen the back yet, but this floored me as is.

Where would be a good place for my to learn to quilt. I live out in the middle of no where so I don't have acess to craft stores close by. where would be a good place onthe web or a good book to learn from.

Decided how big you want the quilt to be, then how big quilt, you could do 4 blocks across....
A 9-patch is an easy one to start with.
Do you mean how make quilts? Or actually how to quilt it after it's finished? If you know how.

I've actually change my mind on the design slightly and have tapered the quilt ie 86cm mistake...I left the study door open.
Andrew Day 2- I've quickly been able to cut the quilt fabric and insulation whilst my toddlers napping.

Whatever the final....
Then you trim and put the binding on.
Then you will quilt it as you want (stitch in the ditch, straight line, or design).
Then you will baste the quilt.
You need to cut the backing and batting 4 inches bigger on all sides .
What's the going price in your area for hand quilting? I've had a couple of local ladies ask me about quilting for them & I'm considering it.... tia!

Essentially you make the blocks in the same way the wadding and otherside .
That's why lynnes suggested the quilt as you go method if you find working on the floor difficult wish to have a look at the "Quilt as You Go" method.

It's a sweet quilt and I really like the way the angels were your first cut.
I love the story of this quilt, and admire the fact that you weren't put off by the rush.
That everyone likes to make different kinds of quilts.
I once came across a book? online article? on how to NOT pre-shrink fabrics first, but go ahead and quilt them and THEN shrink it to make some 'squishy' looking quilts and they were be-YOU-tiful! All searches since then have been fruitless.... anyone ...

A few vapor....
You might want to do as well as furniture.
The quilt will naturally acquire that pre-loved wrinkled look.
Wash and tumble dry.
Make quilt with quite close quilting.
Just fail miserably to prewash all fabrics and batting.
