I am currently in route to Salt Lake City from Germany spending a few weeks with my parents in FL. My car is here also an 05' with 53k miles and I decided to just drive it from West Palm Beach FL to Utah currently this is roughly my route

Much time do you have? In Florida alone there is a lot to see, but it will involve a LOT of driving performance tires wont get you anywhere here (Utah) in the winter.

I haven't seen any threads for the University of Utah yet this year. I thought I would start one for all of us applying to the U for entering fall 2012. Have any of you heard anything from the U about your applications yet?
