How do you harvest seeds from an onion. I have some onions that have flowered at the top its been that way? for a little over a week maybe 2 weeks can I get onion seeds or something?

How to save onion seeds: Source(s): http://voices.yahoo.com/how-save-onion-s… When that onion flower starts to wilt and look droopy, snip it off with pair of scissors leaving an inch or so of the stem and put it in a paper bag or a glass....

" dont come true from seed" easy answer you get seed from a blue plant , when you plant these seeds and grow to produce their own flowers they may be blue, white, pink.

To answer yr question,why pay for seeds when you can easily make your own.Take a Q-tip, put,and for your own use,the plants....
Then you will have seeds where you want them it off.
Pollen on it,and touch it to the buds you want to seed.
